You've been invited to a team

Someone at your company set up HabariChat and added you to their team. This is the short version of getting started, made for invited members: no plan to pick, no payment, and no channel setup. You just accept, set a password, and start replying.

1

Open your invite

Find the invite email and click the button to accept it.

2

Set a password

Choose a strong password for your login. That's your whole setup.

3

Start in the inbox

Sign in and you land in the shared inbox, ready to reply.

What an invite means

An invite adds you to a HabariChat account that your company already owns. The plan, billing, connected channels (like WhatsApp and Instagram), and the AI training are all managed by the account owner, so there's nothing for you to buy or configure to get started.

Your job is simply to join and start helping customers in the shared inbox. What you can see and do inside the account depends on the role the owner gave you.

Not invited yet, but want to run your own account? That's a different path. Follow the full Getting Started guide to create an account and set up channels.

Mockup of the set-password screen an invited member sees after accepting. To be replaced with a real screenshot.
  1. Open the invite email from HabariChat in the inbox of the email address you were invited with.
  2. Click the accept button in the email. It opens a secure page for your account.
  3. Set a password: choose a strong password and confirm it.
  4. Continue, and you're taken straight into the shared inbox, already signed in.
Use the invited address. Accept the invite with the same email it was sent to. That email address becomes your HabariChat login.

Sign in from now on

After you've accepted, you sign in like any other member:

  1. Go to app.habarichat.ai/auth/login.
  2. Enter your email (the one you were invited with) and the password you set.
  3. You land back in the shared inbox.

Forgot your password later? You can reset it from the login page in a couple of minutes.

What you can do (your role)

When the owner invited you, they gave you a role. Your role decides what you can see and change:

  • Agent: reply to customers in the inbox, add internal notes, and hand conversations to teammates.
  • Supervisor: everything an Agent can do, plus oversight of the team's conversations and reports.
  • Administrator: full access, including team management, channels, billing, and settings.

If you think you have the wrong role or are missing access to a channel, ask the Administrator who invited you to adjust it in Team Management.

Your first few minutes

Once you're in, a few things get you comfortable fast:

  1. Open the inbox and see how conversations from every channel land in one place. See The Unified Inbox.
  2. Reply to a chat and try an internal note so the rest of the team can follow along.
  3. Learn how the AI helps so you know when it answers on its own and when it hands a chat to you. See Human handoff.
  4. Update your profile with your name and photo so teammates and customers know who's replying. See Update your profile.

Didn't get the invite?

If the email hasn't arrived or the link no longer works:

  • Check your spam or promotions folder and search your mail for “HabariChat”.
  • Confirm the address. The invite goes to one specific email; make sure you're checking that inbox.
  • Ask for a resend. The person who invited you can send it again from Settings > Team Management.
Invite links can expire for security. If yours no longer works, a fresh resend is the quickest fix.

Common questions

I was invited to HabariChat. What do I need to do?

Open the invite email, click the button to accept, set a password, then sign in. You don't choose a plan, add payment, or connect any channels: the account owner has already set all of that up. Once you're in, you go straight to the shared inbox.

Do I need to pay or create my own account to join a team?

No. An invite adds you to your team's existing HabariChat account. There is no separate sign-up, no plan to choose, and no payment on your side. You use the email address the invite was sent to.

My invite link has expired or won't open. What should I do?

Ask the person who invited you (an Administrator on the account) to resend the invite from Settings > Team Management. Check your spam folder first, and make sure you're opening the email sent to the correct address.
